Urban Stitch LLC operates Urban Stitch Edit at urbanstitchedit.com. This policy explains what information we use to run the store and how you can contact us about it.

Information you provide

When you place an order, create an account or ask us a question, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, order details and the content of your message. Please do not send full payment card details through our contact form or email.

Information needed to operate the site

Our web server may record technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages and time of access for security and troubleshooting. Shopping sessions keep track of the items you add to your bag. If you sign in, cookies maintain your authenticated session.

Cookies and your choices

We use essential WordPress and WooCommerce cookies for account access, cart contents and checkout sessions. These may include woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_* and wordpress_logged_in_* when those functions are used. We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage under use-cookie-choice.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, pixels or marketing trackers. The Accept and Decline buttons save your preference; essential shopping and security functions continue to work with either choice. You can reopen the choice using Cookie Settings in the footer, or clear browser storage. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the bag or account from working correctly.

How we use information

We use the information to handle purchases and returns, send order updates, answer questions, maintain accounts, protect the site and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. We do not use the contact form to enroll you in marketing.

Service providers and disclosures

We share information as needed with service providers that support hosting, email delivery, order handling and parcel delivery. They receive the information needed for their role. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

We keep information as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including tax, accounting and dispute records. We use HTTPS and access controls to protect the site. No system can guarantee complete security.

Your requests

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights, including a right to appeal a privacy request decision. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.

Children and other sites

This store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Links to other sites, if any, are governed by those sites’ own policies.
